Screenlio is a product of jCloud Solutions, an AI and app development consultancy. jCloud Solutions is the company responsible for operating Screenlio and handling your personal data.

• Reference Information: Names, addresses, and contact information of personal references and emergency contacts.
• Uploaded Documents: Bank statements, pay stubs, and photo identification submitted as part of a rental application.
• Credit and Background Information: Credit reports, criminal background check results, and eviction history obtained through TransUnion SmartMove upon your authorization.
• Technical Data: IP address, browser type, device information, and usage data collected automatically when you use our platform.

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• To process and evaluate rental applications submitted through our platform.
• To facilitate credit, background, and eviction checks through TransUnion SmartMove, only with your explicit written consent.
• To communicate with you regarding your application status, account, or our services.
• To notify landlords of new applications and applicants of status updates.
• To maintain the security and integrity of our platform.
• To comply with applicable laws and regulations, including the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).

Screenlio facilitates consumer reports, including credit reports, criminal background checks, and eviction history, through TransUnion SmartMove, a consumer reporting agency. These reports are obtained solely for the purpose of evaluating rental applications.

In accordance with the FCRA:

• Your information will only be used for permissible purposes as defined by the FCRA.
• You have the right to know if information in your consumer report has been used against you. If a landlord takes adverse action based in whole or in part on your consumer report, you will be notified and provided with the name, address, and phone number of the consumer reporting agency that provided the report.
• You have the right to dispute incomplete or inaccurate information in your consumer report directly with TransUnion SmartMove.
• Consumer reports will only be requested after you have provided explicit written authorization.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following circumstances:

• With Landlords: Application information and screening results are shared with the landlord associated with the property you applied for.
• With TransUnion SmartMove: Personal information required to run a credit and background check is transmitted securely to TransUnion SmartMove upon your authorization.
• With Service Providers: We may share information with third-party vendors who assist in operating our platform, including payment processing (Stripe) and email notifications (Resend), under strict confidentiality agreements.
• As Required by Law: We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or governmental authority.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including encrypted data storage, secure HTTPS transmission, and restricted access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Application data is generally retained for up to three (3) years following the completion of the application process.
